Job Description

We are seeking 10 highly motivated and experienced Intermediate or Advanced Riggers to join our team at HAMMER TOGO. This role requires expertise in handling tasks that cannot be completed through ordinary means, utilizing specialized equipment for moving and lifting. Successful candidates will apply advanced rigging techniques while ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely rig and move loads of various sizes and weights using appropriate rigging techniques and equipment.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks and inspections of rigging gear and equipment.
  • Collaborate with crane operators and team members to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
  • Interpret and follow lifting plans, load charts, and relevant documentation.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain rigging equipment in good working condition, reporting defects or issues as needed.
  • Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Valid Intermediate or Advanced Rigging Certification.
  • Proven experience as a rigger, preferably in industrial or heavy manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret load charts, lifting plans, and technical documents.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.

Skills and Competencies

  • Technical aptitude and strong spatial awareness.
  • Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Safety-conscious with excellent communication skills.
  • Physically capable of lifting and operating equipment.

Requirements

Education and Required Experience

  • Previous experience in the telecommunications sector or related industries is preferred.

Languages

  • French: Required.
  • English: Advantageous but not mandatory.
