Job Description

At Hammer Group, we are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality, environmental health, and safety (QEH&S). Our team works diligently to ensure a safe and compliant workplace across all our operations, and we are looking for a QEH&S Coordinator to join us in supporting this mission.

The QEH&S Coordinator provides vital administrative and operational support to the QEH&S Manager and Officer. This role involves coordinating safety training programs, maintaining documentation, and assisting with inspections and audits. The QEH&S Coordinator ensures smooth daily operations within the QEH&S department by managing data, tracking compliance, and facilitating communication across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of safety inspections and audits.
  • Coordinate safety training programs and maintain up-to-date training records.
  • Maintain accurate QEH&S documentation and records.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of safety plans and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the QEH&S department, including data management and report preparation.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience in administrative or office support roles.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, database systems).

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficient in data management and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and departments.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accuracy in records and documentation.

Requirements

Education and Required Experience

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills for effective coordination and report preparation.
