Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Zone Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure that HTx-owned and managed sites are kept in optimal condition, while the Maintenance Partner consistently meets contractual SLAs in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the Zone Field Maintenance Supervisor and develops them into efficient leaders.
  • Responsible for people development within the zone
  • Implements KPIs in the Zone and works towards their continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that the zone closed out open audit items (Customer, SHEQ, Operations) and Trouble Tickets in a timely manner
  • Promotes OTOB methodology within the zone
  • Keeps the Zone within financial budgets, follows process and ensure that MP payments are not delayed.
  • Ensures the quality of the PM/CM by reviewing PM on SN and ensuring the SOP is implemented and being followed
  • Ensures that Fixed Assets Verifications are completed on a quarterly basis for all sites and RedCube is updated.
  • Responsible for all assets management within the zone
  • Leads by example to ensure that the SN standard workdays and consistent throughout the Zone.
  • Ensures that capex change justification process is followed.
  • Owns and leads the Business Excellence Program.
  • Ensures warehouse minimum stock levels are adhered to
  • Promotes and leads SHEQ Excellence Program.
  • Ensure Opex reduction projects are delivered on time, to the correct standard and deliver the expected results
  • Ensures contract compliance with Maintenance Partners
  • Makes sure the zonal operations achieve financial KPIs
  • Make sure the zonal operation meets the Six Sigma level
  • Responsible for achieving all internal SLAs
  • Responsible for Security Management within the zone
  • Liaise with the project team making sure any project carried out in the zone are done as per the Hammer Group Towers procedure
  • Responsible for ensuring good customer relationship in the zone

Qualifications

  • Familiar with proper installation procedures for power infrastructure and reticulation at BTS sites.
  • Competent to ensure integration of power infrastructure and conduct acceptance tests.
  • Ensure constant tracking, monitoring, and providing support to the O&M contractors in resolving persistent, reoccurring faults using approved ETU processes, procedures and OEM OPIs.
  • Computer literate and familiar with MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio.

Requirements

Education and Required Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years in a Management position and 5- 7 years hands on experience in a Telecommunications/Power Generation environment will be an added advantage.
