In line with these values, Hammer Benin proudly participated in MTN Benin’s “CEO of the Day” initiative, a forward-looking leadership development program designed to empower emerging professionals by giving them direct exposure to executive responsibilities.

The “CEO of the Day” initiative enables talented individuals to step into senior leadership roles for a day, providing a unique opportunity to observe and participate in strategic decision-making, corporate governance, and organizational management. By opening the executive space to rising talent, MTN Benin continues to champion leadership development and gender inclusion across the corporate ecosystem.

Mawadath OSSENI – CEO of the Day (Hammer Benin)
Selected to assume the role of CEO for the day, Mawadath OSSENI (Logistics Assistant) represented the next generation of professionals within Hammer Benin. Her participation reflects Hammer Group’s commitment to empowering young leaders and promoting women’s leadership in the workplace.

MBENGUE Omar – Country Manager / CEO, Hammer Benin
As Country Manager and CEO of Hammer Benin, Mr. MBENGUE oversees the company’s strategic direction, operational performance, and partnerships within the telecommunications sector. His leadership provided the framework for the initiative within the organization and enabled an immersive executive experience for the CEO of the Day.

IDIMATH ALAO ADECHOKAN – Human Resources Manager
As Human Resources Manager, Ms. ADECHOKAN played a key role in coordinating the initiative internally, ensuring that the experience aligned with Hammer Benin’s talent development objectives while supporting Mawadath throughout the day’s program.

The CEO of the Day Experience

During the initiative, Mawadath OSSENI assumed the responsibilities of CEO of Hammer Benin, gaining firsthand insight into the dynamics of executive leadership.

Her day began with a strategic briefing session where she reviewed key operational updates, project progress, and organizational priorities alongside the leadership team. This session provided a high-level overview of Hammer Benin’s ongoing telecommunications infrastructure projects and strategic goals.
