Job Description

As part of our expansion in Senegal, Hammer Senegal SUARL is recruiting a Field Engineer (Maintenance Engineer). The role is responsible for ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance of telecom sites to guarantee service continuity, infrastructure safety, and optimization of operational costs.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance:

  • Perform maintenance activities in line with defined standards
  • Record all interventions accurately
  • Implement continuous improvement plans

Corrective Maintenance:

  • Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently
  • Ensure equipment compliance and restoration

Asset Management:

  • Use original spare parts for all interventions
  • Update technical data and asset records
  • Conduct regular asset verification

OPEX Management:

  • Monitor and control operational consumption
  • Optimize operational costs

Resource Management:

  • Ensure proper functioning of all equipment and systems

Qualifications

  • Strong technical knowledge in telecommunications systems
  • Ability to configure equipment and maintain components
  • Experience in equipment inspections and reporting
  • Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work in various environments, including outdoor and remote locations.

Requirements

Education and Required Experience

Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Asset Management, Use original spare parts for all interventions, Update technical data and asset records
Conduct regular asset verification, OPEX Management, Resource Management

Languages

  • French, Level: Fluent, Required
  • English, Level: Working knowledge, Added advantage
