Job Description

As part of our technical team expansion, we are seeking a qualified and motivated Telecom Rigger. The successful candidate will work on elevated structures (towers and rooftops) to install, maintain, and optimize radio equipment while strictly adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and mount antennas (GSM, microwave) and metal supports on towers or rooftops.
  • Perform cabling and connections (coaxial, fibre optic, and power) from the top to the technical equipment rooms.
  • Carry out antenna alignment and pointing.
  • Conduct signal measurements (VSWR tests) and continuity checks after installation.
  • Ensure strict compliance with HSE standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in working at heights (climbing, securing, rescue techniques).
  • Good knowledge of radio equipment and RF cabling.
  • Ability to read and interpret site layouts and technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of telecom site safety standards.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent physical condition and fitness for working at heights (no fear of heights).
  • Ability to work under pressure and in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Requirements

Education and Required Experience

  • Previous experience in the telecommunications sector or related industries is preferred.

Languages

  • French: Fluent (Required).
  • English: Basic technical knowledge (an advantage)
